Bedford
Various events between 25th February and 5th May 2012
Lace in Place, Bedford Creative Arts current art programme, has been inspired by the rich history of lace making in Bedford. To celebrate this history artist Arabel Rosillo deBlas has been invited to create a large-scale lace installation in Bedford's town centre, to be launched 5 May 2012.
There will be many opportunities for the public to get involved in Lace in Place, through events and workshops with Arabel and audio visual artist Kathy Hinde, who will work with the public to develop musical scores from lace patterns. Full details can be found on the Bedford Creative Arts website.
