This is a residential course and the price includes full board and tuition from dinner on 9 May to afternoon tea on 11 May 2012.
Do you feel you are totally in the dark where gimps are concerned?
Do you have problems with gimps, knowing when to use them, how many twists to put where, or what kind of thread to use?
Do you want to get adventurous and try loopy gimps (as in Elwyn Kenn’s books) to put gimps into places a gimp wouldn’t normally go?
Or would you like to learn how to use overlapping gimp rings?
If you’ve answered yes to any of the above then this midweek course is for you. It doesn’t matter if you are fairly new to lace or have been making lace for years. We will concentrate on the use of gimps in Torchon and Bucks Point, but you can bring your own project (with or without gimps) if you wish.
