MEMBERSHIP of The Lace Guild is open to anyone with an interest in making, collecting or just enjoying lace in any form. Currently there are over 4000 members throughout the world.
Members receive the quarterly magazine, Lace; have access to The Lace Guild’s extensive library of books, periodicals, slides and videos about lace and lacemaking; can study the Guild’s own collection of lace; and take part in the Guild’s scheme for assessment of individual proficiency in different types of lacemaking. Members can attend courses and events organized by The Lace Guild at a reduced fee, and apply for bursaries that contribute to the cost of attending lacemaking courses or of carrying out research into lace-related subjects. There is also a section for Young Lacemakers, with its own magazine and membership badge.
