Membership of The Lace Guild

Memebership of The Lace Guild is open to anyone with an interest in making, collecting or just enjoying lace in any form.

Members receive the quarterly magazine, Lace; have access to The Lace Guild’s extensive library of books, periodicals, slides and media about lace and lacemaking; can study the Guild’s own collection of lace; and take part in the Guild’s scheme for assessment of individual proficiency in different types of lacemaking. Members can attend courses and events organised by The Lace Guild at a reduced fee, and apply for bursaries that contribute to the cost of attending lacemaking courses or of carrying out research into lace-related subjects. The Lace Guild also provide members with insurance for lace events and resources. There is also a section for new lacemakers with its own magazine.

The membership year runs from 1st July, and the current rates are shown below. Members joining later in the year will receive copies of any magazines already issued for the current year. If you wish to join the Guild, the application form can be downloaded it in PDF format. Please note that new Direct Debit forms for the subscription year 2018-9 should be returned by 31st May 2018 to ensure that your membership can be started or renewed promptly.
