Get involved: Volunteering with the Lace Guild
Do you have an infectious enthusiasm for all things Lace and Lacemaking? Volunteering is a great way to get involved with The Lace Guild! As an educational charity we rely on members and supporters like you to help us share our wonderful range of crafts with as many people as possible and inspire a new generation of Lacemakers.
The Lace Guild has a small team of part-time admin staff based at The Hollies, but most of the work that goes on behind the scenes is made possible by an extraordinary and dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers.

To give you an idea of some of the activities made possible by volunteers, here are just some of the areas they currently support:

We need members and supporters like you to get involved and make sure The Lace Guild delivers on its mission:
To engage and inspire the widest possible audience with the history, craft and development of lace and lacemaking.
Do you live a long way from The Hollies?
No problem! We work flexibly and many of our meetings and tasks can be done remotely. In common with many similar organisations, most meetings happen online these days – but we like to meet in person where possible too!
In the coming months we will be uploading a range of volunteer roles to this page of our website. You can contact us to express an interest in a particular role, or just get in touch to let us know you’d like to get involved more generally.
